Work overview
Villa Maxi is a residential building located in Nicosia, Cyprus, where RECAPGRO successfully delivered a full façade renovation to upgrade both the aesthetic appearance and durability of the structure.
The client’s objective was to transform the building’s exterior from an outdated maplexine textured rendering into a modern, clean, and durable smooth white finish, enhancing the overall architectural identity of the property.
RECAPGRO executed the works with a comprehensive approach, ensuring proper surface preparation, repair, and high-quality finishing.
Scope of Work
- Removal of all defective and deteriorated concrete and proper surface treatment
- Removal and replacement of all damaged plaster layers
- Reinstatement and fixing of all electro-mechanical services attached to the façades
- Repair of drainage systems and sealing of all leakage points
- Application of a polymer-modified mortar as a bonding and leveling layer to eliminate surface roughness
- Application of a cementitious smoothing layer by troweling for a uniform finish
- Final coating using high-performance white exterior weather-resistant paint
- Repair and treatment of all cracks in exterior parapets and façade elements
