The project involved comprehensive structural rehabilitation of a deteriorated warehouse exposed to harsh coastal conditions.
All primary structural elements, including columns and beams, were strengthened using jacketing techniques to restore load-bearing capacity and improve durability.
Secondary structural components were repaired to address cracks, spalling, and reinforcement corrosion.
The basement level was structurally upgraded through the addition of new columns and beams, enabling the structure to accommodate increased operational loads.
To protect the entire structure from future deterioration, specialized anti-carbonation and anti-chloride coatings were applied using high-performance materials.
Key Services
The existing structure was severely deteriorated due to prolonged exposure to marine conditions and lack of protective systems.
Significant corrosion of reinforcement and concrete degradation required careful removal, treatment, and rebuilding of structural elements without compromising overall stability.
Working within an existing structure required precise execution, controlled demolition, and continuous structural assessment to ensure safety throughout the rehabilitation process.
